Tanger Hotel - Punta del Este

The central location of Tanger is a real plus. Just a three-minute walk to both sides of the peninsula and a two-minute stroll to the bus terminal. The friendly and helpful family running the place. The room quality needs attention. The space felt dingy with a musty odor hanging in the air. Lighting was poor. The beds seemed old, and some improvements in cleanliness are essential. It could easily be a fantastic spot if the rooms were updated.

Friendly staff, central location, with quick access to transportation, such as the bus terminal just 500 meters away, and a pleasant bar/lounge area to relax after exploring.

The rooftop terrace offers beautiful views and is great for relaxation. Rooms really need upgrades, the decor feels outdated. Conveniently located with plenty of dining options nearby. They have a fun games room and table tennis to enjoy.

The room was kind of a bummer. It had a musty smell and felt really dark, hard to relax. The decor was sort of dingy and outdated, honestly. For the price, I was expecting way more comfort. A little refresh would go a long way. At least the family running the place was super friendly and helpful!

We loved the location and proximity to both beaches, restaurants and shops. The staff were really good and always ready to help. The hotel facilities, including the rooftop pool and indoor pool with warm water, were great. Breakfast had a small selection, but was of good quality and worth the price.
